Red is the color of choice for February in an assortment of fundraising products for the American Heart Association (AHA). Bare Escentuals has jumped on board for the cause with Charity Buxom, a cherry-colored lip polish created in honor of the AHA’s Go Red for Women campaign. BE Cares, Bare Escentuals’ corporate philanthropy program, will donate profits from Charity Buxom sales in 2009, which will help educate women and promote awareness of heart disease.
According to the company, this limited-edition cherry-red crystalline gloss delivers dazzling shine in a comfortable, easy-to-wear formula, and an infusion of Vitamins A and E help keep lips soft, smooth and healthy throughout the day.
