Stop by SGD’s booth to view its breakthrough Infinite Glass—the first 100% recycled glass for the perfumery/cosmetics industry. Glass, an endlessly recyclable material, is known for being one of the most eco-friendly materials. However in the perfume industry, glass is generally composed with 30% of in-house cullet (recycling of the production loss) and with 70% of raw materials (sand, sodium and fining agents). Using a higher level of cullet enables the lowering of raw materials extractions, energy consumption and CO2 rejections. After 18 months of research and development, SGD has successfully reached its goal to produce a type of glass with the lower possible impact on the environment: Infinite Glass, the first glass 100% made of white household cullet. This new type of glass is an additional asset to SGD know-how and is specifically produced on demand at its factory in Mers-les-Bains. In order to highlight this eco-friendly glass, SGD has launched within its standards stock range, La Collection, a new line of bottles and jars coming from the eco-conception. Booth A23
