As it aligns its recent business acquisitions in the U.S., The Maesa Group has announced that the following immediate appointments have been made:
Jill Belasco, founder of Maesa Home (formerly Latitudes International) has been named CEO of the Maesa Group, U.S. She will oversee U.S. operations and strategy for all four divisions: Maesa Studio, Maesa Packaging, Maesa Home and Maesa Beauty. With over 25 years of experience in the beauty industry, Belasco will bring her expertise in business management and organization as well as her leadership and creative vision to the new structure. She will report to the Board of Directors of the Maesa Group, led by the group’s founders and co-chairs, Gregory Mager and Julien Saada.
Gregory Mager, while continuing in his role as co-chair of the Board of Directors, will assume the responsibility of president of Maesa Beauty U.S., and will lead the turnkey beauty business comprising cosmetics, skincare, fragrance and personal care.
Scott Oshry, co-founder of Maesa Packaging (formerly Zorbit Resources) has been named to the newly created position of President, Maesa Studio U.S. Sean Brosmith, also a founding partner in Maesa Packaging, will work with him as chief creative officer for the design division of the group.
Belasco says, “I’m enthusiastic about the development of our business and look forward to building on our success with an energized and focused organization. As we continue to strengthen our position in the U.S. and develop global alliances, I’m happy to be part of the leadership team that will support the Maesa Group’s vision.”
