L'Oreal Paris' has kicked off its 'Women of Worth' initiative, which is in its seventh year. The company is honoring ten women, chosen based on their outstanding devotion to a particular cause, committment to their communities, and their drive to make a difference in the world.
The Honorees will receive $10,000 for their charitable cause -- but one will be named "National Honoree"and will receive $25,000 at a gala event on Dcember 6th. The public can vote online to choose the "National Honoree," now through November 21st.
Among this year's ten new Honorees are: Kate Bialo from Larchmonth, NY, founder and executive director of Furniture Sharehouse; as well as Risa Vetri Ferman, from Abington, PA , co-founder of Mission Kids Child Advocacy Center.
