Cosmoprof North America (CPNA) will debut a new sampling concept at the 2013 show, July 14th-16th at the Mandalay Bay hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. It is called "Beautique" and it is designed to showcase sampling trends - while raising money for charity.
Visitors to Beautique will be asked to choose 7 deluxe sized samples from 20 exhibiting brands, for $10. All proceeds will benefit City of Hope, a research, treatment and education center for cancer, diabetes and other life-threatening diseases.
The idea for Beautique was inspired by one of the latest sampling beauty trends - e-tailers are filling specially curated boxes with sample-sized beauty products, which customers pay to receive monthly.
Beautique will be located on the CPNA's main show floor. HCT Packaging is Beautique's official sponsor, and will be producing the boxes that will hold the samples.
