Women in Flavor & Fragrance Commerce (WFFC) has announced its 2014 scholarship recipients.
Sarah Warth is the 2014 recipient of the Rita Flynn Memorial Fragrance Scholarship Award.
Warth is enrolled in a dual Master’s program, one for business and management at the University of Padua, Italy; the other for science and technology at the University of Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, France. Warth took unpaid internships at both Givaudan and IFF.
Christine Akoh is the 2014 recipient of the WFFC Flavor Scholarship Award.
Akoh is in her second year earning a doctoral degree in Human Nutrition at Cornell University. Akoh’s research in adolescent human nutrition has set her apart from other applicants. Her long-term goal is to help millions of malnourished and undernourished people worldwide.
The WFFC has also given out three additional scholarships for excellent academic achievements, as well as overall contributions to communities and the flavor and fragrance industry.

- Renee Lalonde, studying Food Science at Kansas State University
- Joanna Godyla, in the Cosmetics and Fragrance Marketing program at the Fashion Institute of Technology
