Coty Inc. has confirmed that ten Procter & Gamble fragrance licenses will be transferred to the company, from P&G.
When the transaction is completed, Coty will have added these fragrance licenses to its portfolio: Hugo Boss, Gucci, Lacoste, Bruno Banani, Escada, Mexx, James Bond, Gabriela Sabatini, Stella McCartney, and Alexander McQueen.
Which are being left out of the deal? Dolce & Gabbana and Christina Aguilera Perfumes. These licenses "did not provide their consent within the specified timetable," accoridng to reports, and it was agreed that these brands will not transfer upon completion of the merger.
Coty already markets these brands: adidas, Calvin Klein, Chloé, Davidoff, Marc Jacobs, OPI, philosophy, Playboy, Rimmel and Sally Hansen.
