Dark and Lovely is planning to celebrate the accomplishments of inspiring black women at the "Black Girls Rock!" awards show, which airs on Tuesday, April 5th, 2016 at 8:00PM / 7:00PM Central on BET Networks.
The brand is sponsoring the event's pre-reception. The brand will also present the 2016 Star Power Award, which is given to an outstanding woman dominating her field. Danai Gurira is the 2016 recipient. Past winners have included Jada Pinkett Smith and Kerry Washington.
