Meitu's BeautyPlus app, now launching at iTunes and already at Google Play, lets users create, retouch and post Facebook video profiles. Meitu is a beauty app developer with over 900 million users worldwide.
Facebook's new profile videos are 7-second video clips, and the site alos offers a new expression kit and video selfie feature. The BeautyPlus app includes retouch tools and filters. Working with Facebook, BeautyPlus users will now be able to easily create a video selfie, and retouch it.
Ryan Houx, Product Marketing Manager at Facebook, said, "We are very excited about the integration between Meitu's BeautyPlus and Facebook profile videos. It's partners like Meitu that will help our users create entirely new ways to express their personalities on Facebook."
