Minerva Research Labs, which is based in the UK, sells its Pure Gold Collagen at Ulta stores in the U.S. - and has now expanded to Walgreens.
The company says the product has been the first and fastest growing liquid beauty vitamin in the UK, and has sold over 10 million bottles at Boots, which is Walgreens' sister company.
Tony Sanguinetti, CEO of Minerva Research Labs, says, "The U.S. market has responded well to Pure Gold Collagen and as we continue to expand our distribution, we are pleased to give more customers the chance to enjoy the product."
Dr Sara Sibilla, renior research scientist at MINERVA Research Labs, explains the products's effectiveness, saying, "The bioactive collagen peptides used in our liquid beauty supplements work most effectively in a drinkable format for best absorption and delivery via the blood stream to the skin cells, in the deeper layer of the skin dermis."
Studies published in international medical journals demonstrated a 14% increase in skin hydration after drinking one bottle a day for 6 to 9 weeks, plus a 19% reduction in the appearance of wrinkles after 9 weeks, and 10% increased skin elasticity after 6 weeks.
