Sandow has named Agnes B. Chapski President of NewBeauty and its newly formed beauty solutions business Beauty Engine.
Beauty Engine will take the powerful NewBeauty network of print, digital and multiplatform businesses and provide access and business services to brands seeking expertise in the beauty space.
Chapski will oversee all aspects of NewBeauty's development and will be responsible for creating and building revenue opportunities across all its platforms and assets. She will be based in New York, and will work with NewBeauty's newly promoted chief revenue officer Steffanie Attenberg and founding editor and chief creative officer Yolanda Yoh Bucher to build and grow the brand.
Chapski spent 18 years at Condé Nast. During the last nine years, she was Publisher/Chief Revenue Officer of Allure. Prior to Allure, she served as the Associate Publisher of Vanity Fair and Lucky. In addition to her time at Condé, Chapski held leadership roles at Weider Publications, American Express Publications and Murdoch.
"I'm excited to be joining a company that recognizes and supports brands that are committed to producing quality solutions for its customers. NewBeauty is uniquely positioned to service this underserved market of affluent women who take their beauty seriously and the marketers that want to reach them," says Chapski. "I'm here because of SANDOW's vision to disrupt the traditional model of publishing and its commitment to build an innovative solutions business that will help our partners and deliver results."
