Badgley Mischka -- aka fashion design duo designers Mark Badgley and James Mischka -- are celebrating the company's 30th anniversary with a new signature fragrance launching in October.
Badgley Mischka Eau de Parfum was created by perfumer Richard Herpin, and developed by TPR Holdings. It is the designers' first scent in 10 years.
The 'glamorous' dewy floral has top notes of ear Blossom, Pink Pepper, Neroli, Iris; mid-notes that include Magnolia, Jasmine Absolute, Tuberose, Peony, Jasmine Sambac, and Osmanthus; and a dry-down of Creamy Sandalwood, Coconut Wood, Musk, and Amber.
The designers were inspired by the magnolia trees that grew at their horse farm in Kentucky when creating the scent, WWD reports. Badgley said, “Our clothes are decorative and romantic, feminine and beautiful and the fragrance encapsulates all of that...There’s always this thread of glamour that runs through everything we do, whether it’s a coffee mug or a red carpet gown and there’s nothing to us that’s more glamorous than a fragrance.”
