SK-II recruited John Legend to record a song about the legend behind the creation of its best-selling beauty product -- Pitera Essence. 

Legend sings "Oh Pitera" in the video below featuring James Corden, along with Japanese actress/comedienne Naomi Watanabe and Chinese actress Tang Wei. 

Legend says, "I had so much fun writing "Oh Pitera"! I was at home and sat down at the piano and the whole song came to me in about 30 minutes. Perhaps it really is a miracle water?" 

Pitera Essence is known for its transformative powers, the brand says -- staring that "millions of women who used it have experienced crystal clear skin and swear by it, lovingly calling it the Miracle Water". Its formula is kept "top secret" and its legendary story says it was created due to the chance observation of a sake brewers' youthful looking hands in contrast to his old, wrinkled face. 

Sandeep Seth, vice president, Global SK-II, adds, "We wanted everyone to know about Pitera. It's so amazing and it would truly be a shame if we didn't find a way to let the world know how amazing it is. So we thought, what better way to do this than to work with a legendary singer songwriter –John Legend to create a song for it. This is our Pitera love song to the world."   

The collaboration is a part of the "Pitera Masterclass", and is the latest installment of its beauty entertainment web series "Bare Skin Chat" on SK-II's YouTube channel.
