Kenvue-owned skincare company, Neutrogena, is taking a step towards sustainability with its new Hydro Boost Water Gel—in a refillable jar. The product is sold with a refill pod system.
Once empty, consumers twist and pop out the empty pod to recycle it, and insert a new pod into the reusable jar. The design reduces plastic waste by 89%* compared to Neutrogen's refillable jar, the brand says.
Neutrogena’s refill pods come with a new formula that has been clinically tested on all skin tones - and is ideal for normal, oily and combination or acne-prone skin, delivering 48-hour hydration without clogging pores. The formula is a lightweight, water-like gel with hyaluronic acid.
The Hydro Boost Water Gel Refillable Jar and Refill Pod starter kit will be available exclusively at Ulta Beauty in February.
