Coombe

Gary Coombe has been appointed European president at P&G. He will report directly to A.G. Lafley. Coombe formerly served as vice president, home care for EMEA, and global brand franchise leader for air care. In his new role, he succeeds Mary Lynn Ferguson-McHugh, who is assuming a new role at the consumer products giant, as group president for global family care.

Coombe has held a variety of roles at P&G for the past 28 years. One of his key roles came in 2005-6, with the integration of Gillette into P&G’s European business and the launch of Gillette Fusion in the UK and Ireland.
